With simple creative aims of uplifting and supporting women who light up the world with their personal looks, real selves, and meaningful tales, the talented fashion designer Nikita Karizma is marking her territory in the most glamorous and competitive fashion wear industry.
Fashion is an exciting, inventive, and often contentious business with a diverse range of employment opportunities all around the world. The story of Nikita provides some insight into the fashion business, whether you’re searching for a fast-paced position in a highly creative environment or just want to learn more about the industry and potential careers.
Nikita was fortunate enough to get acquainted with the fashion industry at a very young age. As a child, she would go with her mother and help her dress up international celebrities. Her curious and learning nature allowed Nikita to learn a great deal from those experiences. She eventually landed her first fashion gig, of styling the Sugababes and Miss America.
After graduating with a degree in Fashion Design & Development, Nikita started her designer brand label with a £2000 order from Little Mix. The brand began to gain fame when celebrities in London approached the young designer for apparel for special occasions incorporating pop culture, and Nikita found her way to work closely with artists and influencers.
For emerging designers, Nikita suggests that why not pursue a profession in fashion or beauty if they have a strong sense of style? There are several avenues they may pursue, no matter what talents are; buying, merchandising, creating, marketing, and even writing about the fashion and beauty trends they like.
Upon asking the inspirations behind the designer label, Nikita shares that she was looking for something that would push her, motivate her, and provide her with intrinsic worth. Fashion provided those for Nikita; therefore, it seemed natural to turn a lifestyle into a profession. Since Nikita was a small child, she would visit India with her parents for business trips. Observing how things work in the fashion industry had been her creative expression throughout her childhood.
Nikita considers clothing to be an art form in which she can combine elements like a puzzle with limitless possibilities. Plus, she enjoys the constancy of something that is constantly evolving. The confident designer likes creating pieces that add value to women’s lives and make them feel powerful. She encourages her customers to represent their worth through their appearances and the style statement they carry every day.
