The world is filled with dreamers, but few have the drive to turn their dreams into reality. Among those few is fashion designer Samantha Jones, the founder of the luxury sustainable swimwear brand Beau Swim. She started the company in 2021 to sell high-quality, sustainable pieces. Samantha noticed that the market offered either high quality or sustainable, but never luxury sustainable swimsuits. So Beau Swim brings you the highest quality sustainable swimwear!
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Samantha lived with her sister, mother, and father. She had a great childhood and knew that fashion was her passion from an early age. Later, Samantha learned to become an entrepreneur. Fortunate to go to a high school that offered fashion and sewing classes, Samantha decided to fly across the country to Los Angeles to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in DTLA, where she studied Merchandising Product Development and received a BS in Business Management.
Samantha always knew that she wanted to have her clothing brand. However, she never thought it possible for someone like her until she adopted the entrepreneurial mindset. She wanted to create this brand and needed it to succeed so she could make a living doing what she loved on her terms. Samantha credits this drive for her success.
She shares that being an entrepreneur is all about learning, failing multiple times until finally getting it right. Samantha’s dedication to constant growth has earned her the reputation of a successful designer and entrepreneur. She describes the journey of an entrepreneur as a battlefield with multiple challenges. While recalling the many setbacks that made her question herself, Samantha had this to say, “You either keep pushing or just fail, and I refuse to give up.”
At only 26 years of age, Samantha has made incredible achievements with Beau Swim. Last year they were invited to Miami Swim Week 2021. This year they graced the ramp at Monaco Swim Week x Formula 1 Grand Prix Event in Monaco, France. Miami Swim Week 2022 in July will showcase Beau Swim and its new range of products, including the Laguna Collection. Samantha shares, “Our customers are what keeps us going, and the reviews and feedback we receive are amazing.”
What sets Beau Swim apart from the competition is that they are a sustainable luxury brand taking customer service to another level. They make the shopping experience more accessible and affordable. Samantha is motivated to get Beau Swim into more boutiques and reveals plans for an exclusive store. She aspires for the company’s global expansion and plans to venture into sleep/loungewear, body oils, and sunscreens. Samantha aims to make Beau Swim a recognizable name for fashion aficionados worldwide, whom she knows would love to shop with them.
