1. Hard work always pays off
Patrick believes that hard work will always produce successful results no matter how long it takes. Even though some ventures might take time to produce positive results, if one has put the right amount of effort into it, then it will eventually show progress. Thus, Patrick’s own journey is a result of countless hard works. First, he spent 23 years doing his best in law enforcement, and then later on even while he was on duty, he still started teaching part time. That being so, it was due to his years of continuous efforts that helped him gain experience and knowledge which eventually bought him a successful law enforcement career and pushed his podcast on the top.
2. Surround yourself with people you inspire
Patrick uses this approach in his one-on-one counseling sessions where he helps people grow professionally and personally so that they can lead a positive life. In the acronym of his coaching session’s name, E.V.O.L.V.E, O stands for “others”. Through this, Patrick reminds his mentees that at the end of the day, you are who you surround yourself with.
