Aicha makes sure that her clients can relate to their extensions, as everyone has their unique style and personalizes the eyelash for them. Her hard work and determination can be observed from the fact that within two years of launching The Beauty Kingdom, she has made a huge name for herself and has also started providing lash training.
Aicha’s humble beginnings
Aicha was born in Montreal Canada and moved around a lot as a child. She has spent the majority of her adolescence and adult life in Ottawa. Growing up, she recalls her African parents’ endless struggles to build a new life for the family. “Even though we didn’t have much, we had everything we needed and they hustled for years to get our family to where we are now. My mom taught me the importance of working hard and making something of myself and that lit up the hunger I had to succeed and to become someone with impact.”
Journey to creating a beauty brand
Aicha believes that the moment she gave her life to Christ, her life transformed. She quit on everything she built within and around her to give herself a fresh start in life. She moved back to college full time, moved to a new place, upgraded her peers and habits, and quit her full-time job at Aldo. Her exposure to fashion had stirred within her a sense of deep love for it. She decided to explore and expand her horizons and took a lash extensions course.
“I did the training and used up all the money I had left to get my equipment. Within hours of launching the business on social media, I had people booking my services. I started my first month with clients every day and within the third month of being in business I moved into a new apartment and had clients every day several times a day.”
Aicha’s unique business offers all things related to lash services and not just the application of extensions. She offers training, materials, and lashes services. Since not all artists can ever be the same and have a unique flair for creativity, Aicha’s innovative lash services and dazzling makeup look surely stand out from the rest. She feels she has nothing to compete with anyone else in the business as she firmly believes in her art and services, which sets The Beauty Kingdom apart.
