Since childhood, David felt the need to assist others around him, offering support wherever and whenever necessary. His philanthropic/humanitarian nature can be attributed to his parent’s involvement in non-profits. Born in Wisconsin, his parents kept moving due to the nature of their work. They traveled across Canada, Mexico, and Guatemala, and finally settled down in Panama. David developed an all-inclusive ideology early on because of his international travels. Living among native tribes inculcated an all-embracing intent in him – anyone could belong anywhere, regardless of ethnicity or gender.
Northgate came into existence based on these ideas because David wanted to give back to the community. He is a staunch believer in the idea that love begets love and care begets care. If you can, you must strive to benefit your community. Moreover, he believes welcoming people from diverse cultures has been a turning point in his life. Interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds has made a huge difference in shaping David’s personality while also contributing to his company’s growth. A lot of what David is today is because of his history; considering his upbringing, he picked up an altruistic mindset early on in his life. It made him realize the importance of being heard, especially in the case of underdogs and minorities.
Nonprofits have been providing ways for people to work together towards a shared goal for years. They help transform the core beliefs to create a paradigm shift, opening pathways to positivity in a community. David believes they have the power to shape your dreams and ideas, paving the way for humanitarian causes. He observed that even though most nonprofits had exceptional visions and great insight, they were unable to communicate their ideas effectively. He wanted to change that by giving them a voice that could be heard and understood without any issues or qualms.
David’s marketing company Northgate is doing just that. It helps nonprofits communicate without the binds of conventional norms, gaining trust and support for their causes – in turn, this has helped nonprofits work productively towards community welfare. David is an example of pure compassion and kindness because his supporting behavior has contributed to creating positive outcomes for his personal and professional life. He plans to extend his continuous support to charitable organizations working locally and internationally to alleviate society’s burdens and pains.
