From a very young age John Walsh became fond of music. While good music was his favorite enjoyment, it was also something that motivated him to become a better human being. Here are 3 reasons why John decided to turn his passion into his career:
1. His love for music
No words could ever define John’s love for music. Whether it was him composing music or just listening to records, he always enjoyed it. At times he would be so indulged into music that he would just randomly start humming to songs while he ate. Nevertheless music was also the first thing that would come onto his mind whenever he was overwhelmed by any emotion. As a result, his love for music became so intense that he started relying on it during his daily routines. Seeing his eagerness to make music, John’s parents too encouraged him to compose his own music so that he could do what he loved.
2. Willingness to help others
As John was always very humble when it came to helping others, he wanted his music to be a source of comfort for others just like it had been for him. When he first heard that he scored the highest in his final exams, he danced to music till he was out of breath. Moreover, when he got the heartbreaking news of the death of his dog, he spent time alone in his room listening to music to comfort himself. Thus, music was there with John through all the ups and downs of life. As a result, he hoped that if he is able to create good music like his inspirations so that he too can connect with those in need of someone.
3. To help create a better society
John’s idea of an ideal society was where everyone could dance to their favorite music and spend all night jamming to their favorite songs. He believed that it was music that brought everyone together. Thus, he wanted children to play games while his music played in the background, couples to dance at weddings to his tune, and teenagers to sing alongside his songs. John believed that in an evolving society where everyone is apart, music can be a source to bring back the lost connections between friends and families.
Thus, John set off on his journey to make music so that he could spread the joy and peace that music always brought him.
